Job summary

J&J Worldwide Services CBRE Government and Defense Business is seeking an Employee Relations Business Partner to manage union interactions, conduct investigations, and ensure compliance with labor and employment laws. You will advise managers, handle disciplinary actions, and support workplace policy enforcement.

The role covers union negotiations, grievance processes, and training delivery while guiding managers on performance management and policy development. Up to 20% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Three (3) years of experience in employee and labor relations.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage union interactions and workplace investigations.
• Support compliance with labor laws and collective bargaining agreements.
• Draft and review disciplinary actions and corrective measures.
• Advise managers on labor laws, contract interpretation, and dispute resolution.
• Assist with union negotiations and grievance processes.
• Deliver training on labor relations and workplace policies.
• Improve work relationships, morale, and productivity.
• Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to management.
• Support HR compliance and employee engagement initiatives.
