Job summary

SOLV Energy, a nationwide provider of infrastructure services for solar, storage, and substations, seeks a Labor Compliance Specialist for a temporary assignment. The role is fully remote and focuses on ensuring prevailing wage and related labor requirements across projects.

Responsibilities include payroll monitoring, contract reviews, audits, and training. Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in public works labor compliance, a BA/BS in business, and strong knowledge of wage enforcement,

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years experience with Public Works Labor Compliance Programs and/or Project Labor Agreements.
• Bachelor's degree in business or related field is required.
• Experience with prevailing wage enforcement, analysis, and auditing skills.
• Knowledge of employment practices in the construction industry and state labor regulations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor certified payroll for internal self-perform projects and external subcontractors.
• Review public contracts for labor requirements and ensure monitoring plans.
• Perform periodic audits on projects to ensure compliance.
• Develop risk assessments for Compliance Programs.
• Stay abreast of applicable laws and regulations affecting SOLV Energy policies.
• Participate in third party/government reviews and audits with the Director of Compliance.
• Ensure compliance of organizational policies and procedures.
• Create and maintain relationships with stakeholders and contractors.
• Conduct labor compliance training for stakeholders and contractors.
• Review payroll records and apprenticeship paperwork for compliance.
• Request missing/revised documentation and coordinate with contractor staff.
• Use LCP Tracker and other software to review payroll documents.
• Compile information for third-party requests for information.
• Draft letters requesting payments and follow up with third parties.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
