The Labor Compliance Specialist position is a temporary assignment that is fully remote, with location details discussed during the interview.

The role focuses on prevailing wage and labor requirements, payroll monitoring, contract reviews and training for stakeholders.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years experience with Public Works Labor Compliance Programs and/or Project Labor Agreements.
Experience with prevailing wage enforcement, analysis, and auditing.
Strong knowledge of state labor regulations in construction.
Ability to coordinate across internal and external teams.

Responsibilities

Monitor certified payroll for internal self-perform and subcontractors.
Oversee labor compliance company-wide and ensure proper plan submissions.
Review public contracts for labor requirements and ensure compliance.
Perform periodic audits to verify compliance on projects.
Develop risk assessments for Compliance Programs.
Stay updated on applicable labor laws and regulations.
Assist with third-party reviews, audits and inquiries with the Director of Compliance.
Maintain relationships with stakeholders and contractors.
