Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Labor Compliance Specialist for a fully remote role. You will ensure prevailing wage compliance on projects nationwide, monitor payroll and labor documentation, and collaborate with project teams.

The position emphasizes independence and meticulous attention to regulatory requirements, with responsibilities spanning audits, reporting, and stakeholder training across the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' experience with Public Works Labor Compliance Programs and/or Project Labor Agreements
• Bachelor's degree in business or related field
• Experience with prevailing wage enforcement, analysis, and auditing
• Strong knowledge of state labor regulations in construction
• Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and work independently
• Excellent written and verbal English communication

Responsibilities

• Monitor certified payroll for internal and subcontractors.
• Oversee labor compliance company-wide.
• Review public contracts for labor requirements and ensure proper monitoring and reporting.
• Perform periodic audits to ensure compliance.
• Develop risk assessments for compliance programs.
• Stay current with applicable laws and regulations affecting SOLV Energy.
• Assist with third-party reviews, audits, and inquiries.
• Provide compliance guidance across teams.
• Train stakeholders and program employees.
• Review payroll records and apprenticeship documents for compliance.
• Coordinate with staff to obtain missing documentation.
• Use LCP Tracker to review payroll documents.
• Prepare information for third-party information requests.
• Draft letters requesting payments and follow up.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
