Job summary

SOLV Energy is a national leader in infrastructure services for solar, storage, and high voltage projects. This role can be remote or based full-time in our office in San Diego, CA, with location details discussed during the interview process.

You will lead the labor compliance function, oversee audits, stay current on regulations, and collaborate with operations and other departments to ensure robust compliance across projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years experience in labor compliance within the construction industry.
• Knowledge of laws surrounding labor.
• Familiarity with construction industry contract types and language relevant to labor compliance.
• Ability to comprehend government and other regulations and apply them to the company’s business.
• Up-to-date on industry issues related to labor compliance as they apply to the industry.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage labor compliance group and oversee the Corporate Labor Compliance Program.
• Coordinate and perform periodic internal audits of labor compliance procedures.
• Monitor and stay abreast of applicable laws and regulations; share best control practices and advise on changes.
• Manage investigation of identified or reported compliance issues with business leadership and SI departments.
• Participate in third party/government reviews, audits and inquiries with appropriate departments and outside resources.
• Identify, develop and participate in needed training on labor compliance efforts.
• Attend external training and participate in industry-related compliance organizations.
