Job summary

SOLV Energy seeks a Senior Labor Compliance Specialist to lead the corporate labor compliance program across nationwide solar, storage, and substation projects. This role can be remote or office-based in San Diego, with interview-determined location expectations.

You will manage audits, monitor evolving labor laws, and drive training, partnering with Operations and other departments to maintain robust compliance across the company.

Qualifications

• Seven years of labor compliance experience within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of laws surrounding labor practices and compliance.
• Familiarity with construction contracts and industry language relevant to labor compliance.
• Ability to interpret government regulations and their applicability to the business.
• Up-to-date with current industry issues related to labor compliance.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the labor compliance group and administer the Corporate Labor Compliance Program.
• Coordinate periodic internal audits of labor compliance procedures.
• Monitor applicable laws and share best practices, including related software.
• Investigate identified or reported compliance issues with leadership and departments.
• Participate in external reviews, audits, and inquiries with internal and external resources.
• Identify and develop training on labor compliance efforts.
• Attend external training and engage with industry compliance organizations.
