Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Senior Labor Compliance Specialist to lead our labor compliance program across nationwide solar and utility-scale projects. The role can be remote or based in our San Diego, CA office, with interview-stage discussion of location expectations.

You will oversee internal audits, monitor regulatory changes, coordinate investigations, and develop training to ensure full compliance across the business.

Qualifications

• Seven years experience in labor compliance in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of the laws surrounding labor.
• Familiarity with construction industry contract types and language related to labor compliance.
• Ability to comprehend Government and other regulations and determine proper applicability to Company’s business.
• Current on industry issues related to labor compliance.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Manage labor compliance group, which oversees labor compliance across the company. Working with Operations and other SI Departments to oversee, administer and update the Corporate Labor Compliance Program.
• Coordinate and perform periodic internal audits of labor compliance procedures.
• Monitor and stay abreast of applicable laws and regulations; identify and share best control practices, including software, and advise on changes.
• Manage the investigation of identified or reported compliance issues, working with business leadership and SI departments to determine action.
• Participate in external reviews, audits and inquiries with appropriate departments and outside resources.
• Identify, develop and participate in needed training on labor compliance efforts.
• Attend external training and participate in industry related compliance organizations to stay ahead of trends.
