Job summary

This Senior Labor Compliance Specialist role can be remote or based full-time in our office in San Diego, CA.

Qualifications

• Seven years experience in labor compliance in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of the laws surrounding labor.
• Familiarity with construction industry contract types and language.
• Ability to comprehend Government and other regulations and determine proper applicability to Company’s business.
• Current on industry issues related to labor compliance, and as they apply to the Industry.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Corporate Labor Compliance Program.
• Coordinate and perform periodic internal audits of labor compliance procedures.
• Monitor and stay abreast of applicable laws and regulations that might affect labor compliance policies and procedures.
• Identify and share best control practices, including software, as it relates to labor compliance, and advise on needed changes to be implemented.
• Manage the investigation of identified or reported compliance issues, working with leadership and other departments.
• Participate in third party/government reviews, audits and inquiries across departments and external resources.
• Identify, develop and participate in needed training on labor compliance efforts.
• Attend external training and actively participate in industry related compliance organizations.
