Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a full-time remote Customer Service Representative based in Virginia or North Carolina to support Lab Services clients. The role requires on-site travel if connectivity issues arise, with shifts 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM and a Day Shift.

The position emphasizes retention-focused customer service, mailmgmt, result retrieval, and timely responses to inquiries, serving as the primary contact for remote patient lab reports across hospitals and clinics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of customer service experience are required.
• Prior scheduling experience is required.
• Experience in a high-volume call center is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all areas of customer services as it pertains to retention of Lab Services Clients.
• Includes mail management, result retrieval, and handling internal/external inquiries and problem resolution.
• Serves as primary support and manages remote communications for patient lab reports.
• Frequent interaction with hospitals, physician offices, clients, lab marketing staff, and lab processing staff.
