Intermountain Healthcare Inc. is seeking a Laboratory Genetic Counselor to support Select Health and the Genetic Laboratory Stewardship Program.

The role combines remote collaboration with occasional onsite activities and focuses on development, implementation, and quality review of genetic testing. The position involves advising providers, educating patients, and conducting utilization reviews while collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.

Competenze

• Master's degree in Genetic Counseling from an accredited program.
• Eligibility for ABGC certification within one year of hire.
• Licensed as a Genetic Counselor in the state of practice.
• Strong reading, interpretation, and critical evaluation of scientific literature.
• Proficient with PowerPoint and standard office software.

Mansioni

• Review pre-authorization requests and medical policies for genetic testing.
• Educate providers on testing options, insurance, billing, and results.
• Provide occasional patient education and counseling regarding tests.
