Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking an Engineer II to operate and scale Kubernetes clusters across data centers and cloud environments. You will automate, monitor, and improve the Falcon platform with Go or Python, collaborating with senior engineers.

You’ll handle incidents, perform upgrades, and contribute to design discussions while leveraging AI tools to optimize operations and decision-making within a fast-moving cybersecurity environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in infrastructure, systems, or platform engineering, with at least 2 years running Kubernetes in production.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Prometheus, Alertmanager, and Grafana.
• Programming or scripting experience in Go or Python.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain large Kubernetes clusters in data centers and public cloud.
• Troubleshoot nodes, pods, networking, DNS, storage, and control plane issues.
• Take on-call shifts and drive incidents to resolution with the team.
• Perform planned changes like upgrades, add-ons, and certificate rotations.
• Build and tune alerts and dashboards in monitoring stack.
• Write Go or Python tools to automate repetitive work.
• Keep runbooks and documentation up to date.
