Job summary

CrowdStrike is hiring a Sr. Platform Engineer to advance the Falcon platform globally. You will be a highly technical, hands-on engineer with Kubernetes and open-source tooling, operating at massive scale in cloud-native environments.

You will design scalable hybrid multi-cloud Kubernetes solutions, ensure high reliability, evaluate new open-source technologies, and mentor junior engineers while steering infrastructure decisions and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Kubernetes experience including management of clusters with thousands of nodes.
• Proficiency with Prometheus, Thanos, Alertmanager and Grafana is expected.
• Golang experience required.
• Experience operating in large-scale Linux environments.
• Experience in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, OCI) and in custom data centers.
• Ability to manage on-call schedules and respond to incidents.
• Proven experience applying AI technologies to improve decision-making and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable hybrid multi-cloud Kubernetes platform solutions at scale.
• Optimize and maintain high reliability of large-scale infrastructure platform systems.
• Evaluate and integrate open-source technologies into existing systems and workflows.
• Provide technical direction for evolving Kubernetes infrastructure services.
• Mentor and develop less-senior engineers to support infrastructure decisions.
