Job summary

3M is seeking a Key Account Regional Distribution Leader for the Electrical Markets Division. This field-based role extends the National Key Account Manager, driving growth with distributors and strategic accounts across regions and locations.

You will develop strategies, manage contracts, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and leverage analytics to improve profitability and market share. Travel up to 50% may be required; remote work location is allowed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution
• Two (2) years of direct sales experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
• Current, valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Support National Key Account Managers in executing strategic business plans for assigned national accounts and distribution partners.
• Drive sales growth, market share expansion, and product conversion opportunities across multiple regions.
• Build and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders at national, regional, and local levels.
• Execute national agreements, contracts, pricing programs, RFQs, and promotional initiatives.
• Conduct business reviews to evaluate performance, identify opportunities, and align growth strategies.
• Partner with field sales, marketing, customer service, supply chain, and finance teams to support customer objectives.
• Leverage analytics and customer insights to drive business planning, profitability, and strategic decision making.
• Deliver training, marketing, merchandising, and demand‑generation programs that enhance customer engagement and growth.
• Serve as the primary field liaison supporting national account initiatives and execution.
