Job summary

Abbott Rapid and Molecular Diagnostics (RMDx) – Infectious Disease is seeking a highly motivated Key Account Manager with a strong clinical diagnostics background to oversee and grow our presence in AZ and NM. This role emphasizes consultative selling to accelerate growth, deepen relationships, and drive revenue across strategic accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4+ years medical sales experience in diagnostics preferred.
• Understanding of lab/POC settings, health systems, and health economics.
• Willing to travel up to 35% (4 days/week).

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with customers and understand their objectives.
• Develop and execute account strategies to protect and grow existing business.
• Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, proposals, and renewals.
• Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Technical Service, and Distribution for a seamless experience.
