Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist to provide virtual speech therapy to K-12 students enrolled in Connections Academy virtual schools. You’ll connect with students via webcams and manage caseloads in our Education Management System.

Responsibilities include planning therapy, maintaining compliance, documenting progress, and coordinating IEP-related activities with parents and school staff. Remote, home-based position with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• MA or MS in Speech Language Pathology and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence.
• Active/valid state licensure in the state of residence.
• Ability to obtain multiple required state certifications and clearances.
• 2+ years experience in K-12 school setting.
• Strong technology skills and comfort with virtual platforms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must use personal device and two-step authentication.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality speech language services to assigned students in a virtual setting.
• Plan and implement individual and group therapy in teletherapy.
• Maintain compliance with school and state policies for LiveSpeech.
• Document interventions and progress in the management system.
• Communicate with parents/learning coaches and school staff regarding IEP goals.
• Coordinate IEP meetings and special education case management as needed.
• Maintain data accuracy in CEUs and other systems.
• Adhere to data protection and privacy policies.
