Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist to provide virtual services for K-12 students enrolled in Connections Academy. This remote role uses webcam sessions and the company’s Education Management System to manage caseloads from home.

The SLP will deliver individual and group therapy, maintain detailed documentation, and collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure IEP goals are met while complying with state licensure and ASHA CCC requirements.

Qualifications

• MA or MS in Speech-Language Pathology and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• Active/valid state licensure in SLP for residence state required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain multiple state certifications and clearances as assigned.
• 2+ years experience in K-12 school setting.
• Strong technology skills.
• High degree of flexibility and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Must use a personal device and email for two-step authentication.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality speech language services to assigned K-12 students.
• Plan and implement individual and group therapy in a virtual environment.
• Maintain compliance with school/state policies for LiveSpeech services.
• Maintain communication with leadership, school staff, and parents/learning coaches.
• Complete documentation of therapeutic interventions and assessments.
• Coordinate with teachers to meet IEP goals and accommodations.
