Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist to provide virtual speech therapy to K-12 students enrolled in Connections Academy. The SLP will work from home, connect with students via webcams, and manage a caseload using the Education Management System.

Responsibilities include delivering services, planning individual and group therapy, ensuring IEP goals are met, documenting interventions, and communicating with families and school staff.

Qualifications

• MA or MS in Speech Language Pathology and ASHA CCC.
• Active/valid state licensure in speech pathology in state of residence.
• Ability to obtain multiple state certifications and clearances as assigned.
• 2+ years experience in K-12 school setting.
• Strong technology skills; ability to work independently.
• Excellent oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality speech language services to assigned students in a virtual environment.
• Plan and implement individual and group therapy sessions.
• Maintain documentation of therapeutic interventions.
• Review reports to ensure compliance and progress toward IEP goals.
• Communicate with parents/learning coaches and school staff regarding student needs and IEP goals.
• Coordinate with teachers on specially designed instruction as defined in IEP.
