Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Part-time Speech Language Pathologist to deliver virtual speech therapy to K-12 students enrolled in Connections Academy virtual schools. Therapies are conducted remotely using webcams and the company’s Education Management System.

The role requires an MA/MS in SLP with state licensure, active ASHA CCC, and at least two years in a K-12 setting. Equipment is provided for home-based work, with the employee providing a computer, second monitor, mouse, and keyboard.

Qualifications

• MA/MS in Speech-Language Pathology required and ASHA CCC preferred.
• Active/valid state licensure in SLP in resident state.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a K-12 setting.
• Strong technology skills and ability to work remotely.
• Excellent oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality speech-language services to assigned students virtually.
• Plan and implement individual and group therapy in a virtual environment.
• Maintain compliant documentation and data in the EM system.
• Coordinate IEP-related services with teachers and staff.
• Communicate with families and school personnel regarding goals and progress.
