Job summary

Pearson is hiring a Part‑time Speech Language Pathologist to provide virtual services for K-12 students enrolled in Connections Academy. The role uses webcams and an online management system to manage caseloads from a home office.

Responsibilities include planning therapy, complying with state policies, maintaining documentation, and communicating with parents and school staff to support IEP goals. Strong tech skills and ASHA CCC are required.

Qualifications

• MA or MS in Speech Language Pathology and ASHA CCC
• Active state licensure in residence state
• Ability to obtain multiple state certifications and clearances
• 2+ years experience in K-12 school setting
• Strong technology skills
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Must be able to use a personal device and email for two-step authentication

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality speech language services to assigned students in a virtual environment
• Plan and implement individual and group therapy online
• Be an expert on state policies for LiveSpeech services
• Maintain a positive working relationship with LiveSpeech team and schools
• Review and analyze reports to maintain compliance
• Maintain timely and complete documentation of interventions
• Communicate with parents/learning coaches and school staff about IEP goals
• Consult with teachers and coordinate SPI per IEP
• Assist with organization of IEP paperwork and procedures
• Maintain data in Education Management System and other software
• Adhere to data protection and security policies
• Obtain and maintain required licenses and clearances
• Complete CEUs to maintain credentials and meet standards
• Align with Pearson core values
• Complete additional duties as assigned
