Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist to provide virtual services to K-12 students enrolled in Connections Academy virtual public schools. The role uses webcams and a cloud-based Education Management System to manage caseloads from a home office.

Responsibilities include planning virtual therapy, complying with state policies, and maintaining clear communications with parents and school staff.

Qualifications

• MA or MS in Speech Language Pathology and ASHA CCC.
• Active state licensure in Speech Pathology.
• Ability to obtain/maintain multiple state certifications.
• 2+ years experience in K-12 school setting.
• Strong technology skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Must use personal device and email for two-step authentication.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality speech language services to assigned students in a virtual environment.
• Plan and implement individual and group therapy virtually.
• Maintain compliance with school/state policies for LiveSpeech services.
• Maintain communication with leadership, schools, and families.
• Document therapeutic interventions and progress reports thoroughly.
• Coordinate IEP-related meetings and virtual case management as needed.
• Manage data in Education Management System and related software.
