Qualifications

• AAPC CIRCC credential required.
• Minimum 3 years' IVR coding experience; Cardiology and Vascular preferred.
• Experience with Epic and 3M coding systems required.

Responsibilities

• Assigns ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes to facility-based accounts.
• Abstracts and enters coded data for hospital stats and reporting.
• Queries physicians to clarify clinical information and improve documentation.
