Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a NICE CXone Engineer/IVR Developer to join our conversational AI build team. You will design, build, and deploy call flows on Cognigy, enabling self-service journeys, OTP authentication, and real-time CRM data integration in a remote-US setting.

Work with lead developers, a designer, and integration specialists; participate in testing, GraphQL/CCN implementations, and reporting pipelines while adhering to GRC standards.

Qualifications

• Experience building IVR/conversational flows on Cognigy or similar platforms (Google Dialogflow, Nuance, Amazon Connect).
• Hands-on work with GraphQL and REST API integration patterns.
• Experience delivering complex self-services in IVR/IVA environments.
• Familiarity with OTP/MFA authentication in telephony or conversational contexts.
• Knowledge of NICE CXone and CRM data integration for real-time context.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and governance requirements.
• Experience with automation testing for conversational/IVR flows.
• Able to work within enterprise governance frameworks (ARB processes).

Responsibilities

• Build and configure IVR call flows within Cognigy, including MVP flows and OTP authentication.
• Translate caller journeys into functional conversational flows.
• Implement and configure OTP/MFA within call flow logic.
• Integrate call flows with CRM data systems for personalized experiences.
• Coordinate with NICE integration specialists for platform compatibility.
• Participate in automation testing to ensure quality before release.
• Collaborate on microservices-based architecture and GraphQL/CCN implementations.
• Support Data Lake integration for reporting and analytics.
• Adhere to Cognigy architectural governance and ARB processes.
• Contribute to reporting requirements as needed.
