Job summary

Rothe is seeking a Project Manager III to provide remote project management for NASA’s OCIO’s Information Management Division, supporting the eMITS contract. The role centers on ITSM project leadership for migrating from legacy tools to ServiceNow and decommissioning old systems.

Responsibilities include mapping workflows (Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration), data transfer, API integrations, cross-team coordination, UAT, change communications, and training.

Qualifications

• IT project management experience in ITSM projects.
• Experience migrating legacy tools to enterprise solutions.
• Ability to map workflows (Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration) to a new platform.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and training.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage migration from legacy tools to enterprise solutions (e.g., ServiceNow).
• Decommission legacy tools and manage migration schedules, timelines, and milestones.
• Map existing workflows to the new platform and re-engineer core processes.
• Oversee data transfer, configuration items and knowledge articles; manage API integrations.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, user acceptance testing, change communications, and training.
• Build a dependency inventory for legacy tools and ensure clearance of open tickets before shutdown.
