Job summary

Signature Performance is seeking a ClaimsXM Technical Writer for a remote-based role open nationwide. You will bridge communication between SMEs and front-end users, gathering accurate technical information from staff and clients to create governance documentation.

You will design, format, and maintain policies, procedures, and SOPs; test content for clarity and accuracy; and manage yearly updates while collaborating with IT and operations teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years technical writing and training experience in a fast-paced IT organization.
• Experience working directly with technical and operational team members.
• Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint.
• Ability to learn new processes, software, hardware and technical concepts quickly.
• Analytical mindset with ability to digest data and extract material.
• Time management to juggle multiple projects with deadlines.
• Ability to tailor tone to readers' technical proficiency.
• Knowledge of the 7 C's of Technical Writing.
• Proficiency with documentation software.

Responsibilities

• Research and Analysis – Collaborate with operational users, technical staff, and clients to gather accurate technical information for documentation.
• Review details from sources to determine what needs to be included in materials.
• Writing, Editing, Formatting – design information in a logical manner using diagrams, charts for varied audiences.
• Create, write, format, and maintain IT governance documentation including policies, procedures, SOPs.
• Test & Redesign – review content for consistency, accuracy, and grammar; test with subjects for understanding.
• Maintain yearly reviews and updates on all IT governance documentation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; convey complex ideas simply.
• Public speaking, formal presentations, and training involved.
• Other duties may be assigned.
