Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator / Microsoft 365 Project Specialist for a long-term contract. The role focuses on managing Microsoft 365 services, leading IT projects, and driving modernization within a regulated environment.

The ideal candidate combines deep Microsoft 365 expertise with project execution, documentation, and strong stakeholder communication, while supporting a remote, collaborative IT team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in Systems Administration, Infrastructure Administration, Microsoft 365 Administration, or related IT roles.
• Advanced experience administering Microsoft 365 technologies in enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and Exchange Online.
• Identity and access management expertise.
• Experience leading technical projects from requirements gathering through deployment.
• Experience in compliance-focused, security-conscious, or regulated environments.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
• Ability to conduct technical research and evaluate solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT projects from planning through deployment and post-implementation support.
• Administer, configure, and optimize the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Intune).
• Coordinate project plans, timelines, requirements, testing, and stakeholder communications.
• Design and implement solutions within a regulated IT environment with appropriate controls.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for admins and end users.
• Collaborate with a small IT team and IT leadership to drive modernization initiatives.
