Job summary

Zones IT Solutions is seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Administrator & Workplace Migration Specialist to lead the organization's digital transformation. You will be the primary technical owner responsible for migrating the entire workforce, data, and infrastructure from Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace.

The ideal candidate possesses 4–5 years of cloud system administration experience, deep knowledge of Google Workspace Admin Console and Microsoft 365, and hands-on experience designing

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4–5 years in cloud system administration.
• Experience moving large organizations from Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Audit the current Microsoft 365 environment, mapping users, shared mailboxes, aliases, and security groups.
• Design and provision a new Google Workspace tenant with OUs, Shared Drives, and security policies.
• Create a phased migration roadmap including pilot group to ensure controlled deployment.
• Configure and execute migration pipelines using Google-native tools or trusted third-party tools.
• Map users and folders, transfer emails, calendar events, contacts, and Drive data to Google Drive.
• Address edge cases like oversized attachments and nested folders; adjust EWS throttling as needed.
• Manage DNS settings (MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC) to switch mail routing with zero bounce messages.
• Ensure clean SSO transition and MFA parameters; assist with post-migration support and decommissioning old licenses.
