Job summary

Zones is seeking a skilled IT Systems Administrator & Workplace Migration Specialist to lead a company-wide migration from Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace. You will architect, execute the cutover, and minimize downtime while ensuring zero data loss across emails, calendars and cloud storage.

The role requires 4–5 years in cloud administration, mastery of Google Workspace, strong DNS/mail routing knowledge, and scripting ability for automation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–5 years in cloud system administration with at least one large-scale migration.
• Expert knowledge of Google Workspace Admin Console and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Strong DNS zone and mail routing knowledge (SPF/DKIM/DMARC).
• Experience writing automation scripts for batch user management.
• Excellent communication and project-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Audit current Microsoft 365 environment mapping users, mailboxes, aliases, and permissions.
• Design and provision Google Workspace tenant with OUs, Shared Drives, and security policies.
• Create a phased migration roadmap with pilot group to ensure controlled deployment.
• Configure and execute migration pipelines and manage user/folder mappings.
• Ensure zero data loss during transfer of emails, calendars, and files.
• Manage DNS changes, SSO and MFA during transition.
• Provide post-migration support and decommission old licenses.
