Job summary

Zones is seeking an IT Systems Administrator & Workplace Migration Specialist to lead a large-scale migration from Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace. You will own tenant architecture, data pipelines, and security policies, driving a seamless, zero-data-loss cutover.

The role requires 4–5 years in cloud administration, certified expertise in Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, and strong scripting abilities. Remote US-based with a 6+ month term.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years in cloud systems administration with a large-scale migration.
• Proven experience migrating from Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace.
• Strong DNS, SPF/DKIM/DMARC and mail routing knowledge.
• Experience scripting in Google Apps Script or PowerShell.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and provision Google Workspace tenant and OUs, Shared Drives and security policies.
• Configure and execute migration pipelines to transfer mail, calendars, contacts, and files.
• Manage user mapping, folder mapping, and permissions; ensure zero data loss.
• Coordinate change management, training, and post-migration support.
