Job summary

Zones is seeking a skilled IT Systems Administrator & Workplace Migration Specialist to lead a large-scale migration from Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace. You will own the technical roadmap, design the new Google tenant, configure security policies, and minimize downtime while ensuring zero data loss across emails, calendars, contacts, and files.

The role requires hands-on experience with cloud tenant architectures, DNS and mail routing, SSO/MFA, and automation scripting.

Qualifications

4–5 years in cloud system administration with large-scale migration experience.
Proven expertise in Google Workspace Admin Console and Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
Strong DNS, SPF/DKIM/DMARC, and mail routing knowledge.
Experience writing automation scripts for batch user provisioning.
Excellent project management and training skills.

Responsibilities

Audit Microsoft 365 environment and map users, mailboxes, and permissions.
Design and provision Google Workspace tenant, including OUs and security policies.
Execute phased migration roadmap with a pilot group.
Configure migration pipelines and transfer emails, calendars, contacts, and files to Google Drive.
Manage edge cases and adjust EWS throttling for throughput.
Oversee DNS changes and SSO/MFA transitions.
Provide post-migration support and train non-technical staff.
