Job summary

Acclaim Technical Services is seeking a Remote Support Technician with a current TS/SCI w/ Poly to support our Network Solutions Division in Northern Virginia. The role focuses on incident management, remote troubleshooting, and user assistance in a fast-paced federal IT environment.

You will work with IT teams to restore services, manage user access, and ensure security compliance while delivering high-quality support to internal customers and external partners.

Qualifications

• Experience resolving technical problems via telephone or self-service involving hardware, software, networks, system/access, and telecommunications.
• Knowledge of Windows Active Directory, multiple desktop programs, configuration and debugging techniques.
• Experience supporting Windows 10, Microsoft Office 2016 or later, and common business applications.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, general networking issues, virus scanning services, and desktop/laptop/peripheral support.

Responsibilities

• Utilize ITIL-based processes to manage and resolve incidents, service requests, and demands with timely tracking.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues; perform remote desktop repairs and minimize escalations.
• Provide user support and basic training for common applications and system procedures.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional IT teams— network, systems engineering, and application development to restore services and address problems.
• Manage user accounts, access permissions, and perform special administrative tasks while documenting and following security protocols.
