Job summary

Acclaim Technical Services in Northern Virginia seeks an Incident Technician with a current TS/SCI w/ Poly to support our Network Solutions Division. You will deliver end-to-end incident response, support desktop IT equipment, and document outcomes.

The role requires troubleshooting Windows AD, Office, and network issues, following ITIL practices, and communicating clearly with users during outages. Local travel is required; shift is 6:00 AM–2:30 PM with possible flex.

Qualifications

• Experience in help desk, service desk, or incident management.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and telecom issues.
• Experience supporting Windows 10, Office 2016 or later, and common business apps.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, TCP/IP networking concepts, and IT support tools.
• Experience installing IT endpoints such as desktops, printers, VOIP phones, and switches.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end incident response and customer support following ITIL processes.
• Assist with installation, configuration, relocation, and documentation of desktop IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot Windows AD, Office, business apps, browsers, and network connectivity; maintain logs and status reports.
• Provide clear guidance to users on system procedures, downtime processes, and outage communications.
• Local travel between customer buildings is required.
