Job summary

Xcelerate Solutions is seeking an experienced Project Manager (IT & Software Development) to lead and deliver complex software projects within a secure enterprise environment. Remote work in the United States; you will coordinate with developers, analysts, and QA to ensure SDLC excellence.

The ideal candidate will drive Agile ceremonies, manage stakeholders, and maintain schedules, while ensuring compliance with 508 and OPSEC requirements. A PMP or PMI-ACP is highly preferred.

Qualifications

7+ years of project management experience in IT/software.
5+ years managing complex software development projects (SDLC).
Experience in secure, federal, or defense IT environments.
Proven Agile/Scrum leadership and backlog management.
Proficient with Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

Define project scope, goals, milestones, and deliverables with senior management and key stakeholders.
Develop, maintain, and manage project schedules, WBS, and resource plans.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, and Retrospectives.
Monitor project performance using metrics to ensure predictable delivery of high-quality software.
Lead cross-functional teams and manage risks, dependencies, and compliance.
