Centene Corporation is seeking a senior IT Service Operations leader to direct planning, development, and maintenance of the IT service operations function, ensuring reliable enterprise system management and event tools, and aligning ITSM with Centene's strategic objectives.

This remote US position requires ITIL Foundations and collaboration with Procurement, Finance, and Legal to optimize licensing, renewals, and cost.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT service management.
• 5+ years in IT service operations leadership.
• ITIL Foundations v3 certification required.

Responsabilités

• Develops strategy and plan for implementation of policies and procedures to ensure consistently high levels of quality and availability.
• Defines and maintains service operations KPI metrics.
• Oversees planning, hosting, and deployment of key operational activities for IT service and support teams to reduce service volume activity.
• Oversees operational activities per SOPs such as batch processing, backup/recovery, system health checks, and patching.
• Oversees enterprise event management tools and their maintenance, configuration, integration, and strategies.
• Manages hiring and training of staff, provides leadership and coaching to IT Service team members.
• Leads team to ensure stable operation of ITSM activities and develops staff capabilities.
• Manages the budget for service operations, reporting and forecasting.
• Mentors and guides staff and communicates organizational objectives.
• Performs other duties as assigned and ensures compliance with policies and standards.
