Centene Corporation seeks a senior IT Service Management leader to direct software asset management, license governance, and operational delivery across enterprise tools. You will collaborate with procurement, legal, finance, and IT leadership to optimize renewals, audits, and cost controls.

The role emphasizes policy development, KPI-driven operations, and staff coaching while ensuring compliance and operational excellence across the IT service portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience.
• Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.
• Experience with ITIL foundations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Software Asset Management team and oversee license governance, optimization, compliance, lifecycle management, and reporting.
• Partner with Procurement, Finance, Legal, tech teams, software owners, and leadership using Flexera to support renewals, audits, and cost optimization.
• Develop policy strategy for high-quality, available operations.
• Define and maintain service operations KPI metrics.
• Oversee IT service and support activities to reduce volume and ensure consistent response practices.
• Oversee operations per SOPs: batch processing, backups, health checks, reboots, user accounts, patches.
• Manage hiring, training, performance reviews, and coaching of IT Service staff.
• Mentor staff and share knowledge to strengthen understanding of service operations.
