Job summary

Brooksource is seeking an IT Project Manager – Software Development for a Fortune 100 Health Insurance client. This remote role coordinates enterprise software initiatives and partners with Software Engineering, Product Management, QA, and Business Analysis to ensure timely delivery and adherence to SDLC and PM methodologies.

You will facilitate Agile ceremonies, manage schedules and risks, maintain documentation, and support prioritization, resource planning, and capacity management across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, CS, Business, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience supporting IT projects or software initiatives.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum environments.
• Hands-on Jira and Confluence experience.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, execution, and delivery of multiple software projects.
• Coordinate schedules, milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Facilitate daily standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Track progress and report status to stakeholders.
• Maintain project documents and artifacts.
• Collaborate with engineers, product owners, analysts, and QA.
• Identify risks and escalate issues.
• Assist with prioritization, resource planning, capacity management.
• Monitor metrics and ensure SDLC and PM methodologies.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration for successful outcomes.
