Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Dispatcher for its Modern Workplace Services (MWS) team. This remote, work-from-home position supports a 24/7 operation and involves receiving service requests, creating tickets, and dispatching work orders to Field Service Technicians for IT and POS repairs.

You will interact with SHI employees and customers via telephone, Teams, and email to ensure timely and accurate service delivery, including on-call overnight hours when needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a dispatcher or call center/help desk environment preferred.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
• Strong communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive service requests from customers and create tickets in SHI’s call management system.
• Dispatch work orders to Field Service Technicians.
• Communicate with internal teams and customers via phone, Teams, and email.
• Monitor call assignments to ensure proper coverage and timely dispatch.
• Make system corrections/adjustments based on field feedback.
• Monitor emails for service requests and critical communications.
• Update technician schedules and maintain accuracy.
• Verify complete customer information for successful dispatch.
• Work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and on-call hours.
