Job summary

Outdoor Living Supply (OLS) is seeking an experienced Manager, IT Operations to oversee technology infrastructure, outsourced IT support, and service providers. This remote role coordinates multi-location IT services and requires a reliable, secure workspace.

You’ll lead networks, cloud infrastructure, Microsoft 365, identity management, incident response, and vendor relationships while driving continuous improvements and cost efficiency. Occasional travel to locations is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive IT experience in operations, infrastructure, service delivery, and leadership.
• Broad networking, cloud, Microsoft 365, identity management, and operations experience.
• Experience managing outsourced IT services, MSPs, and third-party vendors.
• Strong incident management, service delivery, and performance measurement skills.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and lead initiatives without direct reporting lines.
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership abilities.
• Experience in multi-location environments, distribution/retail preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; IT certs are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee performance, reliability, and availability of networks, Wi-Fi, internet, servers, cloud, and telecom across locations.
• Oversee Microsoft 365, identity management, collaboration tools, and IT systems managed by providers.
• Identify risks and coordinate improvements for reliability, efficiency, and scalability.
• Lead infrastructure initiatives with PM, internal teams, and providers.
• Provide guidance and hands-on troubleshooting when needed.
• Manage relationships with MSPs, outsourced IT, SaaS admins, security providers, and consultants.
• Set service expectations, monitor vendor performance, and ensure timely support.
• Develop service standards and reporting on quality and improvements.
• Support incident coordination and escalation with responsible teams.
• Improve support processes, automation, and self-service for productivity.
• Collaborate with security partners to implement effective measures.
