Job summary

Outdoor Living Supply (OLS) is seeking a seasoned Manager, IT Operations to lead infrastructure, networking, cloud, and IT service delivery across multiple locations. You will oversee internal teams and external providers, ensure security, reliability, and cost efficiency, and drive improvements that support growth.

The role requires strong leadership, vendor management, and hands-on technical expertise with 10+ years in IT operations. Remote work with occasional travel within the US is expected.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of progressive IT experience including operations, infrastructure, and leadership.
• Broad technical knowledge of enterprise networking, cloud infra, Microsoft 365, identity management, and tech operations.
• Experience managing outsourced IT services, MSPs, and third‑party vendors.
• Strong incident management, service delivery, and performance measurement.
• Ability to evaluate vendor recommendations and make business-driven decisions.
• Influence stakeholders and lead initiatives across teams without direct reporting.
• Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Experience supporting multi-location organizations, preferably in distribution/retail.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, with equivalent experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Oversee performance, reliability, and availability of networks, servers, cloud infrastructure, and telecom across locations.
• Provide oversight of Microsoft 365, identity management, collaboration tools, and IT systems managed by external providers.
• Identify risks and coordinate improvements for reliability, efficiency, and scalability.
• Lead infrastructure initiatives with project management and external providers.
• Offer technical guidance and participate in troubleshooting when needed.
• Manage relationships with MSPs, outsourced IT, SaaS admins, security providers, and consultants.
• Establish service expectations and monitor vendor performance; hold providers accountable.
• Develop reporting on service quality, recurring issues, and improvement opportunities.
• Support incident coordination and escalation with responsible teams.
• Improve support processes, automation, and self‑service to boost productivity.
• Collaborate with security teams to implement effective security measures.
• Advise CIO on technology planning, vendor performance, and cost optimization.
• Build productive IT-business relationships and drive improvements through collaboration.
• Demonstrate OLS’s FORTITUDE values in daily work.
