Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an IT Operations & Cybersecurity Specialist for a remote, hands-on role supporting multiple clients from a distributed team. You will manage day-to-day IT administration, user support, and secure environments using cloud productivity platforms, endpoint management, and automation tools.

Qualifications

• At least two years of hands‑on IT operations, helpdesk, or systems administration experience.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace with security policies and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with MDM solutions (Intune/Jamf) and device enrolment.
• Scripting ability in at least one language (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) to automate tasks.
• Strong English communication; German is a plus.
• Ability to work remotely across time zones; reliable setup.
• Certifications in Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace are advantageous.
• Exposure to ISO 27001, SOC 2, or similar security standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• IT Administration: manage user accounts, groups, permissions, and licenses in Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
• Endpoint Management: onboard Windows/macOS devices into MDM and coordinate remote handovers.
• Technical Support: handle first‑line requests and routine troubleshooting; escalate complex incidents.
• IT Maintenance & Monitoring: conduct weekly checks on patches, backups, security alerts, and system health.
• Documentation & Process Improvement: create runbooks and SOPs to improve consistency.
• Cybersecurity Projects: focus ~20% of time on CVE research, hardening scripts, incident response playbooks, ISO 27001 tasks.
• Continuous Improvement: streamline IT workflows and security practices across distributed clients.
