Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a motivated IT Internship candidate to join the HRIS/IT team remotely for the summer term. You will learn IT configuration, support, and maintenance while contributing to application reliability and operations.

As a student in your junior or senior year, you will collaborate with clinicians, IT staff, and vendors to ensure effective systems operations and data integrity, with standard business hours and a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• Current student enrolled as a junior or senior at an accredited college or university.
• GPA of at least 2.5.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Research unusual bugs or issues encountered by the company.
• Support IT team in maintenance of hardware, software and systems.
• Assist in conversions, updates and recovery procedures for applications and hardware.
