Advocate Health is offering a remote IT intern role focused on HRIS and IT operations. The internship runs May 31, 2027 through August 6, 2027, with up to 40 hours per week during Monday–Friday business hours.

Accepted candidates must be enrolled as undergraduates in good standing and meet GPA and Excel proficiency expectations. Interns will learn IT configuration, support, and maintenance while collaborating with clinical operations, IT teams and vendors to ensure effective system operations.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a junior or senior in an accredited college or university.
• GPA of at least 2.5.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency with Excel and general computer skills.

Responsabilités

• Support IT team in maintaining hardware, software and systems.
• Research and report on bugs, issues, and pricing/options for IT solutions.
• Assist with IT configuration, implementation and user support.
• Assist with data integrity, data analysis and KPI-related tasks.
• Troubleshoot equipment and contribute to desktop/server/application maintenance.
