Job summary
Advocate Health offers an IT Internship within HRIS and IT, providing practical work experiences to college students. The intern will learn IT functions including configuration, implementation, support and maintenance of applications to meet organizational needs.
The role acts as a liaison among clinical ops, IT, users, and vendors, ensuring smooth operations. Key responsibilities include researching bugs, supporting hardware/software maintenance, data integrity reviews, and reporting on system
Qualifications
- Current enrollment with junior or senior status at a regional accredited college or university.
- GPA of at least 2.5.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability.
- Proficiency with Excel.
Responsibilities
- Research and troubleshoot IT-related issues and bugs.
- Assist IT team with hardware/software maintenance and updates.
- Support data integrity, backups, and system monitoring tasks.
- Help with desktop, printer, and server troubleshooting as needed.
- Assist with call tracking system and logging of user interactions.
- Participate in developing new desktops, servers or applications.
