Amentum is seeking a Helpdesk Technician to support its Legacy Management Contract in Morgantown, WV and remote locations. The role demands professional IT support across a diverse user population, with emphasis on PC hardware/software, troubleshooting, and user training.

Responsibilities include documenting incidents, collaborating with IT staff, and providing end-user assistance via phone, email, and in person.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business, or related field.
• Experience in lieu of education considered.
• 2 years of Helpdesk experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for PC software & hardware and telecommunication services to a dispersed user base.
• Document all activity in the organization’s trouble-ticketing system and provide timely resolution.
• Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot end user workstation software and hardware and networked peripherals.
