Job summary

TopDog Law LLC is hiring a Jr. IT Helpdesk Specialist for EST hours in a fully remote role. You will provide frontline support to a nationwide remote workforce, troubleshoot across Windows/Mac, Google Workspace, and 365, and assist with onboarding and knowledge base maintenance.

Ideal candidates have 0-1 year of IT support experience, strong communication, and collaboration skills, with a customer-first mindset and security awareness.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year of Helpdesk or IT support experience, ideally in a remote or multi-location environment.
• Strong troubleshooting across hardware, software, networking, and remote-access tools.
• Excellent communication with a customer-service mindset.
• Experience supporting Google Workspace & Microsoft 365, Windows & MacOS, and common collaboration tools.
• Proven ability to collaborate with peers, managers, and cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in reading and writing in English.
• Must be able to work EST business hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 technical support via phone, email, chat, and ticketing system for remote employees across multiple locations.
• Manage and elevate tickets appropriately, ensuring timely follow-up and clear communication.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows/Mac workstations, accessories, mobile devices, legal-industry software, and network issues.
• Support Google Workspace & Microsoft 365, document management systems, video conferencing, and authentication tools.
• Assist with new-hire onboarding, including account setup, device configuration, and user orientation.
• Maintain and update IT documentation, FAQs, and knowledge base articles.
• Collaborate with IT leadership on process improvements, recurring issue analysis, and system enhancements.
• Ensure adherence to security policies, confidentiality requirements, and compliance standards relevant to legal environments.
