AmeriSave is seeking a Help Desk professional to join our IT team. The ideal candidate is driven and passionate about contributing to our company’s growth. You will provide tier 1 support, diagnose and resolve issues, and log interactions from remote locations with high-speed internet.

The role emphasizes strong written and verbal communication, detail orientation, and the ability to guide users toward appropriate resolutions while escalating complex problems to higher tiers as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; some college coursework required.
• Working knowledge of Windows 11.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft O365 suite.
• Ability to assist others with complex issues in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide tier 1 level technical and procedural assistance via phone, email and chat.
• Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
• Research issues using available information resources.
• Implement issue resolution and/or advise user on appropriate action.
• Follow standard help desk procedures.
• Log all help desk interactions.
• Redirect problems to tier 2 and tier 3 level support as required.
• Identify and upscale situations requiring urgent attention.
• Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions.
• Stay current with system information, changes and updates.
• Assist senior IT staff as needed.
