Job summary

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking an IT Program Manager for IT Governance to act as the operational owner of enterprise governance. You’ll lead the governance lifecycle, set standards for Leadership Council operations, and guide Council Coordinators to ensure governance requests progress with clear ownership and solid information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field is required.
• 7 years in project management with large, complex projects (>$1M) preferred.
• Experience with IT governance, frameworks and cross-functional leadership.
• Strong communication, analytical and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of the enterprise IT governance projects on time and within budget.
• Engage senior IT and business leaders; report progress and risks.
• Develop governance standards and support Leadership Council operations.
• Coordinate Council Coordinators, intake readiness, agendas and materials.
• Promote IT governance adoption through targeted communications and education.
• Mentor other PMs and manage 10–40 staff in a matrix environment.
• Ensure project requirements stay within scope and budget tolerances.
