Carolinas Medical Center seeks an IT Program Manager for IT Governance to oversee enterprise governance lifecycle, standardize Leadership Council operations, and guide Council Coordinators. You will ensure governance requests progress with clear ownership and complete information, while promoting governance adoption across IT.

The role serves as primary Council Coordinator for the IT Executive Steering Committee, handling intake, agendas, materials, and communications, without owning business

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field.
• 7 years in project management, with at least five years on large complex projects (above $1M).
• Experience with modern project management methodologies.
• Ability to govern processes and align cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Manages delivery of the largest and most complex strategic IT projects to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with required functionality.
• Engages with senior IT and business leaders to report progress, risks, and corrective actions.
• Contributes to advocating project management methodologies for different project types (waterfall, RAD, packages).
• Sets targets and performance measures for IT project delivery to drive continuous improvement.
• Mentors other project managers and leads 10–40 staff in a matrix environment.
• Ensures business requirements stay within scope and budget, signaling risks early.
