Job summary

Bexar County Information Technology is hiring a Change Management Analyst I to support IT services delivery. You will implement and enforce the Change Management Framework, manage releases, and coordinate CAB activities to ensure timely, predictable change with minimal disruption.

The role requires collaboration across IT teams and stakeholders, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex changes clearly.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a relevant degree, 1-3 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in enterprise IT change management and release management
• Experience creating performance metrics and continual improvement models for process control
• Experience with change control, root cause analysis, and corrective action methods
• Experience working with stakeholders at all levels of an information technology department, as well as information technology department customers
• Advanced level knowledge of IT Service Management principles, best practices and frameworks such as ITIL and COBIT; good knowledge of project management principles and software development lifecycle (SDLC)

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert with urgency and accountability
• Implement IT Change Management Framework and improve policies/processes
• Foster common understanding of IT Change Management scope and processes
• Collaborate with team to improve change management processes
• Ensure documentation and artifacts related to changes are organized and stored
• Assist with CAB meetings on a recurring basis
• Maintain release schedule for core services and align with partners/vendors
• Conduct release readiness, milestone and go/no-go reviews
• Measure progress to ensure timely application releases
• Monitor change implementations to minimize business disruption
• Document changes and outcomes related to the change management process
• Inform stakeholders of changes and anticipated impact
• Perform other related technology duties and projects
