Job summary

Banc of California, Inc. is seeking a Senior Change Analyst to support the day-to-day IT change management process. You will ensure changes are documented, reviewed, approved, scheduled, and communicated in line with established practices, working with change owners, technical teams, and governance stakeholders.

You will coordinate CAB activities, support urgent changes, and produce recurring change metrics while maintaining rigorous documentation and compliance with policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience in IT change management, IT service management, governance, risk, or related functions.
• Familiarity with ITIL concepts and production change control practices.
• Experience using an IT service management platform.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to review documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Ability to coordinate across technical, business, and governance stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate intake, review, and processing of technology change requests.
• Validate that change records include required information, ownership, risk assessment, and testing details.
• Support QA reviews throughout the change lifecycle, pre- and post-implementation.
• Coordinate CAB activities: agendas, approvals, minutes, follow-ups.
• Support urgent or out-of-cycle changes and communication with stakeholders.
• Schedule and coordinate change freezes for designated systems.
• Assist with post-implementation review and root cause analysis for non-compliant changes.
• Generate and distribute change management reports, metrics, and dashboards.
• Monitor aging and completeness of change records and follow up.
• Support audit, compliance, and control evidence requests.
• Maintain reference data, templates, procedures, and training materials.
