Job summary

Rithum is seeking an IT Automation Engineer within Business Technology to design, build, and maintain automation scripts and workflows. You will administer identity and collaboration platforms and partner with Service Desk and Security teams to reduce manual work.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in IT systems administration or similar role with automation scripting.
• Hands-on experience with identity and collaboration platforms (AD, Okta, M365, Slack, Teams).
• Experience adapting automation scripts to fix moderately complex issues.
• Proficiency using AI tools to improve scripting, docs, and workflows.
• Located in US Central or Mountain time; available for on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automation scripts and workflows.
• Own automated workflows across user lifecycle and device provisioning.
• Instrument automations with logging and alerting for auditability.
• Translate manual IT tasks into reliable automated solutions.
• Use AI tools to accelerate script development and issue triage.
• Administer and monitor end-user and identity platforms (AD, Okta, Entra ID, Intune, Jamf).
• Support collaboration platforms (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Teams).
• Resolve end-user computing issues end-to-end and escalate when needed.
• Document solutions to align with IT and Security policies.
• Collaborate with Service Desk and Security teams to identify automation candidates.
